Donations to the Lowell Alumni Association in 2005 will be used to restore program and staffing cuts resulting
from the ongoing state budget crisis as well as to fund top departmental priorities throughout the school.
Departmental projects include software upgrades for the World Languages lab, completion of a new biotech lab,
supplemental texts for Advanced Placement courses and new library furniture. We also intend to continue our
traditional support for college scholarships and teacher grants. In the past two years, your support has allowed
us to provide almost $400,000 to fund critical faculty and staff positions while also funding teacher grants
totalling more than $150,000. Please join us in helping to preserve the unique Lowell experience for future
generations of talented and hard-working San Francisco students.

Yes. Our partner, Groundspring.org uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for data encryption.
- What credit cards can I use when donating on-line?
We currently accept donations made using Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
(Note: Because of our partnership, your credit card will be billed by "Groundspring.org," and not the LAA)

misuse, or alteration of donor and donation data. If concerned, you can choose to make an anonymous donation.

- Will I get a receipt for my on-line contribution?
Yes, after you make a contribution and your credit card is verified, a tax receipt is
automatically emailed to you acknowledging your contribution for tax purposes.
We will also send you an acknowledgment by U.S. mail.
