Several hundred members of the Lowell community attended the official dedication ceremony for the new wing.
The featured speakers were Dr. Eric Cornell ('80), who won the 2001 Nobel Prize in Physics, and Dr. Arlene Ackerman,
Superintendent of Schools for the SFUSD. Music was provided by the Lowell Chamber Winds and Lowell Choir.
